Cables and ropes knitted with UHMWPE fiber demonstrate advantageous properties such as high mechanical strength, light weight, fine flexibility, abrasion resistance, non-absorbency and insulation, etc. Compared with steel wire cables and hemp ropes, it is of higher strength, lower elongation, shorter diameter and longer durability, and can be taken as shipping cables, hauling cables, inhaul cables, drilling platform ropes and ropes for oil extraction machines.
